The severity of injuries remains unknown following a collision between a MiWay transit bus and a car on Tuesday afternoon in the northern part of Mississauga.

The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Mavis Road, near Knotty Pine Grove, just south of Highway 407. According to reports from the scene, the two vehicles collided, but the cause of the crash has not been determined yet. There is currently no information available regarding injuries, including how many individuals were in the car or on the bus at the time of the incident.

Both the bus and the car came to a stop on the right-hand side of the road. The car sustained significant damage to its front end, with part of it appearing to be lodged beneath the rear right side of the bus near the back tires. As a result of the collision, southbound Mavis Road was closed off to facilitate the investigation.
