According to a statement from Air Transat, a Montreal-based airline, they will be increasing their flights to three popular warm destinations for the upcoming 2024-2025 winter season.
Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer of Air Transat, stated, “For the 2024-2025 winter season, we are prioritizing growth in our key destinations.” Ponce added, “By capitalizing on our partnership with Porter Airlines and our established routes to Europe, we can tap into their expansion into the domestic market and reach a broader audience.”
At the height of the season, Air Transat’s schedule will encompass nearly 300 non-stop flights per week from seven Canadian cities. Alongside Toronto, Ottawa, and London, flights will also depart from Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, and Moncton.
Air Transat is bolstering its services from Pearson to Cancun, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and San Jose, Costa Rica.
Flights to Cancun and Punta Cana will increase to 16 per week, up from 14 last year, while San Jose will see three weekly flights, an increase from two last year.
