Halton police report that a Toyota SUV was stolen from the Pioneer Gas Station at 432 Steeles Ave. on January 30, after the owner left the engine running and the vehicle unlocked while paying inside.

Halton police report that a Toyota SUV was stolen from the Pioneer Gas Station at 432 Steeles Ave. on January 30, after the owner left the engine running and the vehicle unlocked while paying inside.
Halton police spokesperson Jeff Dillon noted that the theft appears to be a “crime of opportunity.”
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s to 40s, around six feet tall, wearing a black puffer jacket with the hood up, blue pants, and black shoes.
The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Steeles Avenue.
