The Rotary Club of Milton is currently inviting applications for its annual youth volunteer scholarship program. This year, five $1,000 awards are up for grabs: three Rotary bursaries for exceptional community service and two Rockwool scholarships highlighting environmental leadership.
Eligible applicants must be local high school students graduating this year who have completed more than the required 40 hours of volunteer service.
Winners will be selected based on their demonstrated leadership, dedication to community service, and a 750 to 1,000-word essay detailing their volunteer experience, environmental efforts, and commitment to peacebuilding. While academic performance will be reviewed, it is not the main criterion.
Applications are open until Wednesday, April 30. Successful applicants will be notified by mid-May. [Click here to learn more and apply.]
