Milton Boy Embarks on a Space Odyssey with His SpaceQuest Podcast

Neerav Raju is set to launch Season 4 of his podcast, delving into exciting new topics and sharing his passion for space and STEM with listeners.

Curiosity can ignite a remarkable journey, especially when it’s sparked by something as vast and fascinating as space. Neerav Raju, a 12-year-old from Milton, has been on a continuous quest of discovery since his Grade 5 project where he built a rocket, leading him to explore the wonders of space.

His podcast, SpaceQuest STEM Explorers: Curious Neerav’s Podcast, invites other young minds – or anyone curious – to join him on this thrilling exploration.

Neerav’s fascination with space began when he watched a video in Grade 5 about the expanding universe. “It was really cool,” Neerav shared. His curiosity about planets led him to dive deeper into research.

With the guidance of his mom, Neelima Mangal, a seasoned podcaster, Neerav launched his podcast three years ago. His first episode explored his passion for LEGO before transitioning to space and science topics.

Each of Neerav’s episodes, typically only a few minutes long, is packed with fun facts, discoveries, and insights to keep his audience engaged. “I learn a lot while talking about it,” he says, ensuring every episode is precise and well-researched.

Neerav’s ultimate goal is to inspire others to share his curiosity about space, and his detailed approach reflects his ambition of becoming a space engineer. Outside of his podcast, Neerav volunteers, plays the alto-saxophone and piano, and enjoys various sports.
