Residents and businesses can participate in the Legacy of Honour Milton initiative by honoring those who served and sacrificed. Each banner costs about $200, covering both the banner itself and its installation for two years.

Inspired by successful programs in other southern Ontario communities, Milton Legion president Sarah has expressed delight with the initial community response. Fundraising efforts, including the sale of t-shirts, sweaters, and coffee mugs, are ongoing to help subsidize costs for those who wish to honor a veteran but may face financial constraints.
