Christmas is over for another year, and so too is the use of that real tree you bought.

Once again, they’ll be accepting old Christmas trees on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its headquarters at 2596 Britannia Rd.
The trees will be used for a variety of restoration projects in the spring. This will help to prevent erosion, improve water quality and enhance stream habitat for aquatic species.
Trees must be free of all ornaments and decorations.
