With their top scorer back in action, the Milton Menace wasted no time reclaiming the win column on Feb. 1.
Luke Johnston, leading the team with 27 goals, sealed the victory with an empty-netter and added two assists as Milton powered past the Toronto Patriots 6-2.
Johnston and Nathan Catalano found the net in the final 90 seconds, securing the Menace’s 31st win of the season (31-12-0-3).
Goaltender Austin McKillop stood tall, stopping 35 shots and holding opponents to two goals or fewer for the fifth consecutive game.
Andrew Giljanovic recorded a goal and an assist, while Cole Semeniuk, Madden MacDougall, and Ashtyn Pacheco also contributed goals.
Milton, now with nine wins in their last 11 games, wraps up a four-game road trip against division-leading Leamington on Thursday before a home rematch with the Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 1 p.m.
