Proceeds to Benefit Mentoring Programs and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps

Big Brothers Big Sisters, Serving Grand Erie, Halton, and Hamilton, has been selected as a recipient of Tim Hortons’ Holiday Smile Cookie fundraiser. From November 18 to 24, all proceeds from Smile Cookies sold at the Milton and Hornby Tim Hortons locations will support mentoring programs for youth and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign. Every cookie sold in Milton and Hornby brings us closer to our mission of fostering life-changing mentoring relationships,” says Michael Treadgold, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Serving Grand Erie, Halton, and Hamilton. Last year, the campaign raised more than $16,000 to support these vital programs.

“This support couldn’t come at a better time. It will have a meaningful impact, enabling us to deliver programming to young people who need it most,” Treadgold adds. Next week, staff and volunteers will join the effort, helping to pipe smiles onto cookies to bring the campaign to life.
